Note: This is the Black and Yellow-Gold edition of these shorts. The original vintage replica version is in pink and yellow, and can be found here.
These are replica-style shorts celebrating the career of Thailand's legendary Muay Thai fighter Karuhat Sor. Supawan. They are close copies of his famous Lamnamoon fight, in this version modified in color, a fight favorite of fans of the Golden Age, and a fight you can watch on YouTube. 100% of the earned profits go to Karuhat himself, so you are directly supporting him. These shorts are non-profit to us. Fast and dependable Fed Ex International Shipping is included in the price. We use FedEx to make sure they get to you quickly because they are custom made, by hand. Right now the estimate for arrival is about 10-12 weeks after ordered, made and shipped from Pi Boy's Thaikla shop in Chiang Mai Thailand. The higher cost of these shorts reflects the best shipping option that we could dependably use to make sure you get your shorts in a faster more awesome way.
The shorts feature S.P.W. initials for his gym name Supawan, and on the legs are medallion shapes which in Thai say his name broken in two: "Karu" and "hat".
This is how the shorts fit and fall. I'm 100 lbs and 5'1" and wear a Small. Karuhat who's a little bigger than me wears a medium.
Note: The cut of these shorts is in the throwback fashion of their time. They are longer than modern Muay Thai shorts, with a thicker, fold-able waist. Also, this nylon is thin and pale, and will prove a bit see-through if wet, so undershorts are recommended. A few people who have ordered shorts ordered a size too small, so be careful to measure yourself, and if there is a question about size it's best to go to the size larger.
Each pair is individually numbered in a series. Karuhat owns numbers 01, and I own number 00. So you'll have a collectors # in a limited collectors edition.
